Moving from Darkness into Light

Full solar eclipse

In the aftermath of the Eclipse, it's normal to be facing darkness.

And not darkness to be afraid of. But rather a wake up call to where light is absent and creating confusion/distortion or where the light has dwindled, or burnt out, in your life.

These are not things that we're used to looking at, and to even mention them often triggers big emotions in us. Much like the attic, crawlspace or basement - filled with things in boxes and drawers conveniently out of sight and out of mind.

But no matter how much we'd like to keep these things out of our awareness, at one point, we're going to have to face them and clean up these areas in our life. To transform darkness into light, ignorance into consciousness, and to take a real, honest inventory of what we're holding onto in our lives and if it's really warranted and helpful for our own quality of life.

And in that process, making yourself free. That is in your power.

So if you're facing darkness in your life and the wake up call is getting louder and louder, don't be afraid to look and listen. Darkness is really the best opportunity for us to discover the state and strength of our own Light.

Is your light as bright as it can be?

And if not, what can you do to help your light shine brighter?

What blocks, fears, beliefs or habits can you relieve yourself of to stop suppressing or compromising your light?

Perhaps this is one of the gifts we can receive from this Eclipse. As messy as things may seem right now, there is a bigger picture to everything that’s happening. And we will have to dig deep to access the faith and the courage to leap into the new beginnings on the other side. To move from darkness into the light.

For each of us can make the World a brighter place. And we each get to do our part by taking care of our own Light and letting its brilliance shine through us as the instruments of God’s love here on Earth. For the more light we allow in our own lives, the more we can then share with others.

So let there be LIGHT. And let it begin with you.
